Tecno has officially launched its new performance-focused smartphone the Tecno POVA Curve 2 5G. The biggest highlight of this phone is the massive 8000mAh battery packed inside a super slim 7.42mm body weighing just 195g. Not only this, it comes with a 144Hz curved AMOLED display and is claimed to be the world’s slimmest 8000mAh curved display smartphone. It also introduces a triple chipset signal enhanced system and supports 20 5G bands. Sale started from 20th February at 12PM.

Tecno POVA Curve 2 5G comes with a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display which offers up to 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming experience. The display supports up to 4500 nits peak brightness which ensures good outdoor visibility. Screen-to-body ratio is around 93–94%, so the bezels look thin and immersive.
It supports Widevine L1, but HDR streaming is not available. Dolby Atmos is supported, but the phone comes with a mono speaker setup.

The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor. It scores around 7.5–8 lakh on AnTuTu which places it in a strong mid-range category. It comes with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

World’s 1st Triple Chipset Signal Enhanced System
Tecno claims this is the world’s first triple chipset smartphone for better connectivity. Along with the main CPU, the phone includes a self-developed GI signal chipset and SE1 Wi-Fi chipset. These work together with UPS 3.0 signal optimization algorithm to improve network stability and responsiveness.
It also supports 20 5G bands, making it one of the most network-ready phones in this segment.
